Alantra Pearce, Scholarship Award Recipient
Alantra Lynnora Pearce, a 2021 Graduate of Sumter Central High School, is a recipient of The Rev. Jeanette M. Washington "Achieving Excellence in Education" Scholarship Award. She is the daughter of Rev. Robert and Mrs. Veronica Pearce, Jr. They live in Coatopa, AL.
Alantra earned many accolades during her high school tenure. She was ranked #4 in her senior graduating class, she maintained a GPA of 3.833, and she also earned 23 college credits through UA Early College while maintaining a GPA of 3.381. She was a member of the National Honor Society, the BETA Club, and the National Society of Leadership and Success. Alantra is also a Small Business Owner - "Lantra's Crafts and Creations".
Alantra received a total of 15 College Acceptance Offers from the University of Alabama, the University of West Alabama, Shelton State, Alabama A&M University, the University of South Alabama, Alabama State University, Auburn University, Auburn University at Montgomery, Huntingdon College, Jacksonville State University, Mississippi State University, the University of Montevallo, Troy University, Tuskegee University, and the University of North Alabama.
Alantra plans to attend the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa to obtain a degree in Business Administration. She aspires to become an Entrepreneur. We are so proud of you and your many accomplishments, Alantra! We wish you well in all of your future endeavors!

Mekhel Octavius Miller, a 2021 Graduate of Linden High School, is a recipient of The Rev. Jeanette M. Washington "Achieving Excellence in Education" Scholarship Award. He is the son of Mr. Donald E. Miller, Jr. and Mrs. Jeremica W. Miller. They live in Demopolis, AL.
Mekhel earned many accolades during his high school tenure. He was ranked #7 in his senior graduating class, he maintained a GPA of 3.30, and he achieved a score of 20 on his ACT Test. He served as the Vice-President for 4-H, and he served as the Vice President of his class. He was a member of the Peer Helpers Group, the Beta Club, and Student Council. He was member of the Linden High School State Championship Football Team. Mekhel received a total of 12 College Acceptance/Football Offers.
Mekhel plans to further his education and football career by attending Huntingdon College in Montgomery, AL where he plans to major in Physical Education. He plans to earn multiple degrees so that he will have access to multiple job offers. We are so proud of you and your many accomplishments, Mekhel! We wish you well in all of your future endeavors!

Here at Royalty's Circle of Hope, Inc., we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in December 2020, we have been determined to make an impact. The core of our efforts is to ensure that all children know that they are loved and appreciated. Through all of our endeavors, we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs.

Royalty’s Circle of Hope, Inc. was created to implement community service initiatives geared towards helping children in underserved populations and/or poverty-stricken areas. At Royalty’s Circle of Hope, Inc., we aim to provide services to children in the community through our platform: “Transforming Lives Through Community Advocacy.”
